My heart still hurts from learning this...

Here is an important question to answer honestly in your heart...

Do you believe that a child who survives an abortion attempt (born alive) should be left to die?

The Illinois legislature pondered this question and voted overwhelmingly not to approve this idea (Thank God!). The lone senator who voted in favor of this? Barack Obama!*

He has also reintroduced legislation to allow partial birth abortion*. Which is the way to dispose of children about the age and size of our new grandbaby who is due on Thanksgiving! Unbelievable.

OHIO IS A CRITICAL state in the upcoming election. REMEMBER to VOTE! Thanks!

She's a half!

B is officially a half year old (and a week or two more now) - you know how the young children like to say 2 and a half or 4 and a half - well B is a half!!!

I guess only we math types care, huh?

Our E continues to work hard in med school - pray for him tomorrow as there is a big exam. In fact, you can pray for him all this year as he prepares for the medical boards next summer!!!

Our other E - the female, continues to balance all the balls she has in the air - they now have 3 med students living in their large home - a junior and a couple that are there from Sweden. She also continues to care for her husband and dogs and volunteer with the rehab project going on in her neighborhood- thank goodness her class this year of fourth graders are the best group she has ever had in her 7 years of teaching!!!

M has had his meeting with STRS and is headed for his final graduation from school (aka retirement) on May 31, 2008!!!! We are counting it down!

B's dad is to be congratulated on his new position at work, too!!! And her mom stays busy tutoring 3 days a week and babysitting part time for a little girl who is now 6 1/2 weeks old. A says she is very little! - how soon we forget!!!

Family - the best gift God has given!
