Gender news...
Hello to all -
A and J are absolutely over the half way point, and have about 19 weeks to go out of 40. Today M and I went to the DR with them to see our first grandchild on ultrasound...
A and J were quite anxious to know gender before Christmas too! (And now that they do we have been able to finish the registry at Babies R Us - such fun that was!)
Sonogram was at 9:30 followed by the DR at 10 - baby was shy and not willing to reveal gender to us no matter how many times we looked and looked. The Tech had an inkling but was unsure.
M and I went back to the waiting room while they saw the DR - who couldn't tell either. But this is the very kind DR that waited while we called J and sister E last month on the phone so they could hear the heartbeat over the phone. She sent A and J back to the waiting room to try again with the sonogram when the tech had another minute or so...
We waited and A drank OJ to try to wake and motivate the child to move around a bit. We all went back in at 11 and were able to quite clearly see that this baby is female! We saw the lenses of her eyes and the feet and ribs and kidneys and heart and stomach...
Everything was measured and she is about 10 inches long and almost one pound (15 oz.). She looks as perfect as she could look at this point and we are all quite excited. The due date was moved from April 6 to April 3....A is just praying it won't be on the first. I remember how thankful I was that E missed halloween also!!!
Mine were both early so I'm thinking it will be very late in March but we'll see...
That's our exciting news. E has decided that A will have girls and she will have the boys...not sure about that at all!
Have a wonderful day giving thanks - we all have so much to be thankful for! God Bless You!
