She is here!
Last night A and J got to the hospital about 5 p.m. and went through all the rig-a-ma-role of being admitted and about 8 pm they gave her some medicine to prep her for induction today. That threw her into labor - very intense from 10-12:30 and she went from 2-6cm. By 1:30 she was at 9 cm and we went to the hospital. She began pushing at 4 and the baby made her appearance at 5:59 a.m. She is 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 21 inches long. Absolutely perfect with a head of her mom's dark brown hair!
Photos will be posted later today! THANKS for your prayers!

Pray tomorrow please
Two weeks ago I asked A if she had an Easter basket for her daughter and she told me then that she probably wouldn't be born by then...So it's Easter and I must admit she was right.
I really did think that baby would come early but now we are in week 41 and they are inducing her tomorrow. She is excited, nervous and bit anxious. Pray for her and for J as they enter this new and very exciting period of life.
E is finally feeling a bit better - he did miss a week of school so pray for him to get caught up this quarter! That makes it hard because there is a huge amount of work involved in med school! The doctor has reassured him that he had surgery on THE MOST PAINFUL joint and on a scale of 1-10, the pain he could have expected and did experience was a 9!!! So I am grateful that the worst of THAT is over.
We hope to post some lovely pictures in a couple days!!!
Tonight J's parents and E the female are arriving for the big day tomorrow....:)

No Progress=No Baby Yet!
Yesterday A and J went to the Doctor for their weekly visit and things are still the same. Except of course that tiny little girl gets a little bit less tiny every day, and they would like her to get here while they can still do "regular" delivery.
So if nothing happens before then, A will enter Flower Hospital Sunday evening for an induction procedure on Monday morning. She has heard WAY TOO MANY stories about that making the pain worse!!! So...Don't tell her those, if you read this, and pray that things will go well - and for her to enter labor naturally before then. I reassured her that she would be right there for the epidural if need be and that she'll be ok, but she is a bit a anxious!
E's surgery went well - minor arthroscopic repair of four tears of cartilage from bone, but he is VERY uncomfortable. Pray for him to get back to classes ASAP!
Thanks!
