Maybe it's anemia

Please keep praying for my mom. She has had a very difficult month. I was concerned she was really depressed, but the doctor is running a bunch of blood work to see if she is anemic. If so that will account for the lack of color in her face and hands, and the fact that she feels light headed, or about to fall when she stands up. It could also be why she is always tired and cold and may account for her getting less than enough oxygen. So if that's what it is, that's the good news.

However, if that's what it is, it also means that the doctor wants to find out why...is she bleeding internally somewhere? We will need to track that down if it is happening, especially since she takes an anti clotting drug for her heart....

At least we know more than we did yesterday! Also pray for her tonight and tomorrow as she is reliving dad's last few days in her mind right now and tomorrow is the one year anniversary of his death. Thanks.

E ran five miles and is busy training for a half marathon on the first of April. She is very excited and proud of herself - as are we! Her husband E is leaning towards going to the MD program at Wright State and will probably join the Air Force so that he will not have a huge debt after medical school. It's worth owing them a few years not to owe that impossible sounding amount of money.

All the rest of us are fine! Sorry I've been so quiet. It's been a busy month with mom! I have now made 3 sweaters and have two more started! This part of my life is fun!!! :)

Doctors...thanksgiving

Great news! J has seen his other specialist, dropped some meds and should feel better. Sometimes side effects are worse than being cured, and, it turns out from the tests that he didn't really need to be cured with those meds.

Mom saw her doctor too and she is probably fighting a virus infection of some kind. She is beginning to feel stronger but occasionally she is still having the serious weakness in her legs. She is exercising and walking, and doing all she can. Thanks for the prayers!

32 years ago today a wonderful thing happened to me! I married the best man in the world (sorry all you other wives out there!) I thank God every day for the man he provided to me and my family!

A weak week

My mom is having a hard time this week. She is feeling nauseous and out of sorts most of the time. We aren't sure what is the matter, but she is back to being dizzy/lightheaded at night and is back to using the commode chair most nights. Last night was particularly difficult. Pray for her.

M wonders if she is already grieving the anniversary of dad's death which isn't until Feb. 1, but she doesn't talk about it much. She is just feeling tired and like she won't ever feel good again and that really is depressing if you think about it!
